I am a native Italian professional translator with several years' experience in translating from English. I was born and raised in the province of Milan. After attending a language high school I moved to Dublin, Ireland, where I studied Arts at University College Dublin, graduating with a BA in English and German and an MA in Anglo-Irish Literature and Drama. Thanks to this experience I gained an excellent command of the English language which, together with my passion for languages and writing, led me to the field of translation.
My education and professional training continued with post-graduate courses in translation, at City University London and at the Institute for Interpreters and Translators (Scuole Civiche) in Milan. I then passed with distinction the exam for the Diploma in Translation from the Institute of Linguists. I currently live in Berlin, Germany, where I attend German language courses in view of qualifying as a translator for German to Italian as well.
