I am a native Italian professional translator with more than ten years' experience in translating from English. I was born and grew up in Italy, where I attended the "liceo linguistico" (high school with a special focus on foreign languages - English, French and German) and began studying Political Sciences at the university of Milan. I then moved to Dublin, Ireland, where I studied Arts at University College Dublin, graduating with a BA in English and German and an MA in Anglo-Irish Literature and Drama.
My education and professional training continued with post-graduate courses in translation, with City University London (distance course in preparation for the Diploma exam) and at the Institute for Interpreters and Translators in Milan (studying literary translation). I then passed with distinction the exam for the Diploma in Translation from the Institute of Linguists. I currently live and work between Germany and Italy.
